Kent and Glorianne Niebuhr, who have seven wonderfully devout and attentive children, Yvonne, Eddy, Danny, Viviana, Loraine, Isabella, and Marianne, accompanied their son, Danny, to the altar for his First Communion on the Feast of Corpus Christi.

Celebrating First Communions

An extra wide camera lens was needed when Michael Patrick posed with his 2 grandmothers, his parents, his 9 brothers and sisters and Abbot Xavier. However, we lost track of how many first cousins Michael has. We think it's somewhere in the hundreds!

Michael Patrick and Fr. Peter, who was given a chasuble at his ordination in memory of Michael's 9 aunts and uncles, especially his uncle Michael for whom he was named.

Four generations of the Connelly, Clark, Wade Clan were represented at Antonia (Nia) Clark's First Communion.

After her First Holy Communion, the youngest cousin, Nia, and the oldest cousin, Kate (Connelly) Wade, enjoy Katie's baby, Emily, who is just soaking up the attention.

After the party, Nia showed off her amazing basketball skills in the abbey gym. Nia, if you are that good at basketball all because of your First Holy Communion, imagine how many people will now want to come to church! Wow! Thank You!
