Public Masses Have Been Suspended
At the instruction of our local bishop, public Masses have been suspended because of the coronavirus.
When public Masses resume, we also will resume the livestream of our conventual, Ordinary Form Mass in Latin, ad orientam.

Saving Souls Through Monastic Life
Our vision is to unite all men to Christ in His Church, to bring about the triumph of Mary’s Immaculate Heart, and to excel and flourish as a Benedictine community by striving for holiness.
Timeless Spirituality
We celebrate Holy Mass and the Divine Office in Latin according to the Novus Ordo. We express our reverence for the Eucharist with Gregorian chant.

Our Work as Prayer
Faithful to the Rule of Saint Benedict, our monks work by the labor of their hands. We practice hospitality through our retreat house where guests are welcomed as Christ, and are invited to enjoy God’s friendship through prayer, fellowship and contemplation of His creation.
Christ in the Heart of New England
The Abbey’s pastoral location in Still River, Massachusetts, overlooking the Nashua River, lifts up the soul and makes it easy to say with the psalmist, “The heavens proclaim the glory of God, and the firmament declares His praise.”

Come Discern at the Abbey
“Your vocation is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.” We welcome you to come learn about our way of life, meet the monks, and pray with us.
