Saint Benedict Institute – Application

The application, together with your statement of interest and letter of reference from a professor, is due by July 1, 2020.

You will need to provide two documents with your application (which can be uploaded at the bottom of this form).

  • A Statement of Interest, no more than one typed page, explaining your interest in Saint Jerome, the monastic tradition, or both. Be sure to specify anything in your intellectual background that would prepare you for an intensive study of Saint Jerome, whether historical, philosophical, theological or otherwise. Knowledge of Latin is welcome but not required.
  • A Letter of Reference from one of your professors. This can be scanned (ideally to a PDF). (Those who attended last year need no letter of reference, simply the rest of the application.)

All applications will be reviewed by Dr. Mark Clark and Dr. Timothy Noone, and applicants will be notified by email within a few week regarding their acceptance.
